Books

Bought for $4

Another Star Wars book to add to ever growing collection.

Synopsis: The Clone Wars rage to their bloody climax. Treachery reigns. Treason
takes courage. Commandos, Jedi, and the entire Galactic Republic must
face the end of life as they know it . . . and the dreaded dawn of a new
empire.

Even as the Clone Wars are about to reach an explosive
climax, no one knows whether victory will favor the Grand Army of the
Republic (GAR) or the Separatists. But no matter who wins, the stakes
are highest for elite Special Ops clones like the Republic Commandos in
Omega and Delta squads–and the notorious renegade Advance Recon Commando
troopers known as Null ARCs. And now even the deadliest weapon may not
be powerful enough to defeat the real menace: the apocalyptic
horror to be unleashed when Palpatine utters the chilling words The time
has come. Execute Order 66. Translation: The Jedi have tried to stage a
coup, and all must be shot on sight.

With their faith in the
Republic and their loyalty to their Jedi allies put to the ultimate
test, how will the men of Omega and Delta squads react to the most
infamous command in galactic history?

I love short stories and this one looks like it will be a great collection of chilling tales.

Synopsis: Presents a collection
of twenty-one stories that explore some of the greatest fears of the
authors themselves, featuring works by Nancy A. Collins, Rex Miller,
Joyce Carol Oates, Rick Hautala, Graham Masterton, and others.

Movies

Halloween 4 The Return of Michael Myers, on VHS, for $0.33. How can life get any better?

Synopsis: Ten years after his original massacre, the invalid Michael Myers awakens
and returns to Haddonfield to kill his seven-year-old niece on
Halloween. Can Dr. Loomis stop him?

Another Halloween movie, this time Halloween 5 The Revenge of Michael Myers, for $0.33.

Synopsis: It’s one year later after the events
of Halloween 4. Michael survives the shootings and on October 31st he
returns with a vengeance. Lurking and stalking, Jamie, Rachel, and
Rachel’s friends, Michael forms a plan to lure Jamie out of the
children’s hospital where events lead up to the confrontation at the
Myers house. Halloween 5 is a dark, thrill ride that will scare the heck
out of you!

Bought for $0.33.

Finally, Halloween H20 on VHS. I almost have them all now. I only need Halloween III, 6 and 8, if it actually came out on VHS.

Synopsis: Laurie Strode, now the dean of a
Northern California private school with an assumed name, must battle the
Shape one last time and now the life of her own son hangs in the
balance.

Video Games

Bought for $40.

Thanks to Future Shop and their E3 Deals, I managed to get GTA V for $40. You can’t beat a deal like that!

Synposis: Trouble taps on your window again with this next chapter in the Grand
Theft Auto universe, set in the city of Los Santos and its surrounding
hills, countryside and beaches. A bold new direction in open-world
freedom, storytelling, mission-based gameplay and online multiplayer,
Grand Theft Auto V focuses on the pursuit of the almighty dollar in a
re-imagined, present-day Southern California.

Well, that’s all for now folks. I hope you enjoyed another classic Hump Day Happy Deals, I know I did. Tune in next Wednesday for even more great deals.
