Ed Diary Entry: Things that go boom!
After the near death experience I encountered and the sudden death of my friend Marcus, I seem to be finally back on my feet. Which is a good thing, as Maya has been working her ass off and I need to pitch in as well. So, that’s exactly what I did today.
I went and helped out a few friends kill some zombies, mainly those fat bastards, which I guess we’re calling Juggernauts now and nearly got myself killed a few times and it wasn’t by a zombie either. My stupid car caught on fire and I barely got out before it exploded and almost landed on top of me. It was awesome looking, but I nearly shit my pants.
I also managed to get some more supplies for the church. It’s not much, but it should help everyone out. I agree with Maya though, we really need to head to a larger place.
The last thing on my list of things to do today, was clear out a local infestation. Besides nearly getting eaten alive by some screamers, my new car blew up again, after I accidentally drove over a propane tank, which nearly killed me and my friend. It seems my luck with cars is fairly low today. Anyway, I managed to clean out the infestation and make the new area an outpost. Our safe zone is getting much larger, but how long before another large hoard of zombies come through and try to wipe us out.
Also, it’s never wise to forget which hand your painkillers are in and which hand has the Molotov cocktail. I nearly burnt the church down.
Jesus, I need sleep. I’m exhausted and this diary writing stuff is stupid, so this will probably be the last you hear from me.
